How a SHEIN discount code works

On shein.co.uk discounts come as vouchers, which SHEIN's own policy calls coupons. They appear in several forms: a fixed amount off, a percentage off the whole order, a percentage off full-price items only, and free-shipping vouchers for either the cheapest or the most expensive delivery option. Vouchers linked to your account sit under My Assets, while a code you type in yourself is entered at checkout before payment. The rules are strict: one voucher per order, each voucher can be used once, it has no cash value, and it only works on the site where it was issued. Some vouchers are also restricted to products from SHEIN or to products from third-party sellers, and cannot be used on the other.

Many vouchers have spending thresholds, often in tiers where a bigger basket unlocks a bigger saving. The catch comes with returns. It is less a boutique with a point of view than a vast, fast-moving department store you scroll rather than browse.

What British shoppers often miss is that shein.co.uk is a marketplace rather than a single shop. The site is operated by Infinite Towers Services Ltd, registered at 1 Bartholomew Lane in the City of London under company number 14874601, and its terms say plainly that this company does not own or sell the products listed. Each item is sold by a seller named on the product page and again in the order summary before you pay. That seller may be a SHEIN group company or an independent professional trader, and your purchase contract is with them, under the law of England and Wales. SHEIN still handles customer service and processes returns on the seller's behalf, so day to day it feels like one shop, but it is worth knowing who is actually on the other side of the sale.

The range goes far beyond clothing. Alongside women's and men's wear, Curve, Beachwear, Kids, Underwear & Sleepwear and Shoes, the UK navigation lists Home & Living, Beauty & Health, Cell Phones & Accessories, Electronics, Sports & Outdoors, Toys & Games, Tools & Home Improvement, Pet Supplies, Appliances and Automotive, plus a Customisation section for personalised items.
